Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Sales Manager is to establish rapport and build relationships with prospective and existing owners. You will effectively communicate the advantages of vacationing with Wyndham Destinations while maintaining a positive demeanor in a dynamic and energetic setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct engaging, face-to-face presentations in our modern sales centers located within our award-winning resorts.
  • Identify common interests with potential and current owners.
  • Clearly articulate the benefits of choosing Wyndham Destinations for travel.
  • Drive sales by initiating transactions and employing effective closing techniques, with leads provided by the company.
  • Participate in ongoing, advanced sales training and career development.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations that adhere to company policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements while achieving minimum performance goals.
  • Stay informed on sales information, industry trends, and performance goals through regular training sessions and meetings.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in sales and/or marketing is preferred, but not mandatory. Must meet production standards.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Initial paid training will cover our sales process, product knowledge, and sales psychology.
  • Ability to overcome objections and thrive in a fast-paced, luxury sales environment. Must be energetic, outgoing, and determined.
  • Proficient with general smart device technology.

Compensation Structure

During the initial training phase, the hourly wage is $16.00, supplemented by commissions and bonuses. Following the training period, compensation will align with the state's minimum wage, plus commissions and bonuses.
