ROLE SUMMARY:

By identifying the needs of prospective residents and matching them with their ideal apartment, our Leasing Consultants enhance lives through better living.


We are looking for a vibrant, high-performing salesperson with a positive attitude, entrepreneurial mindset, and extensive sales and customer service experience.

This role is an individual contributor position that requires a strong drive to finalize deals while effectively managing competing priorities.

Importantly, a Leasing Consultant often represents the first impression of the Fairfield brand to potential residents. They take pride in their professionalism and passionately discuss our properties, as their effective communication is key to attracting new residents to our communities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

CUSTOMER SERVICE & SALES

Act as the initial point of contact for prospective residents, current residents, vendors, and Fairfield associates.


Facilitate the lease closing process by showcasing the community's quality and available amenities to potential residents.

Assess customer needs, addressing issues and escalating them as necessary.

Utilize your friendly demeanor and conflict resolution skills to build and maintain relationships.

Provide exceptional service to residents, exceeding their expectations and fostering resident retention.

Achieve sales targets, leasing ratios, and maintain high standards in customer service and resident satisfaction throughout the leasing process.

OPERATIONS
Oversee various administrative tasks, including managing lease files and ensuring all necessary documentation and computer systems are up to date.

Utilize property management software to streamline the leasing process.

MARKETING
Engage in marketing and advertising activities, including updating social media platforms.

Stay informed about local market trends and analyze local competition.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of one year of experience in customer service, sales, or retail is required.

Experience or knowledge in leasing or real estate is advantageous.

Proficient typing and computer skills with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Ability to effectively close sales is highly preferred.

Familiarity with tax credit, fair housing, and industry practices is a plus.

Experience with property management accounting software is beneficial.

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

A valid driver's license may be necessary.

Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

COMPENSATION:
Estimated hourly pay is $22.57. This position is non-exempt, and the pay range reflects hourly rates based on required skills and experience, location, and job complexity.
