We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning Strategist to join our team at Edward Jones. As a Senior Financial Planning Strategist, you will play a critical role in helping our branch teams and home office evolve from delivering Goals-based Advice (GBA) to Human-centered Complete Wealth Management (HCCWM).
Key Responsibilities- Lead the firm's transformation efforts to help branch teams and home office evolve from delivering GBA to HCCWM
- Implement and ensure the effectiveness of GBA/HCCWM/Financial Planning communication and training programs in alignment with firm advice and guidance and in the context of a sound learning strategy
- Serve as subject matter expert in co-creating the strategy and development of face-to-face, virtual, online, and other modes of training for branch teams and home office branch support areas on the 'what' and the 'how' of GBA/HCCWM (inclusive of all Advice, Planning, Products, and Solutions)
- Partner with home office support areas to skill up associates and leaders to provide consistent, acumen-building, support, and coaching to branch teams on the 'what' and the 'how' of delivering GBA/HCCWM to clients
- Proactively build relationships with Financial Advisors and serve as a financial planning SME to gain branch team confidence and enable them to deliver on our client value promise
- Participate, support, lead as SME on all existing and developing financial planning tools and resources
- Participate, support, lead enterprise initiatives and/or teams cross-departmentally, divisionally, and in the field to meet client's evolving needs and deliver human-centered complete wealth management
- B.A./B.S. degree required
- Completion of Series 7 and Series 66 within 6 months
- Begin pursuing CFP, ChFC, or CFA within 6 months of joining the team (or have obtained an equivalent level of knowledge and expertise through a minimum of 15 years of financial services experience)
- 5+ years' experience in the respective area or financial services industry and strong product knowledge
- Travel around 25%
We offer a competitive salary range of $96,471 to $164,262, based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, bonuses, and profit sharing.
