Job Summary:

The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support to management. This role involves performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to management, including answering phones, responding to emails, and preparing correspondence.
  • Attend meetings and take minutes.
  • Process incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, emails, and faxes.
  • Schedule meetings and make travel arrangements.
  • Act as the primary timekeeper and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Generate, copy, file, and distribute various reports.
  • Maintain files in accordance with established records retention schedules.
  • Ensure audit documents are filed daily and documentation is destroyed within policy guidelines.
  • Generate purchase orders and distribute to various staff members.
  • Order, maintain, and distribute office supplies for the unit.
  • Drive on State business.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of general office practices and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Business English and basic mathematics skills.
  • Ability to operate office equipment and maintain filing systems.
  • Report preparation and payroll practices and procedures knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications:

One year of professional office experience and proficient use of Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
