Position Overview

Work Schedule

This position offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring two days in the office and three days of remote work. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week with flexible hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM EST.

Key Responsibilities

The Enteral Patient Care Coordinator will be tasked with managing patient care services and ensuring the highest standards of care are met. Responsibilities include:

  • Processing incoming orders from referral sources and addressing patient inquiries through various communication channels, including calls, faxes, and emails.
  • Becoming proficient in our enterprise system to accurately manage new patient orders and reorders for existing patients.
  • Onboarding new patients following hospital discharge or company transitions.
  • Providing resupply orders to patients currently receiving services.
  • Reviewing patient records to confirm medical necessity for services ordered by healthcare providers.
  • Conducting insurance and benefit verifications and obtaining prior authorizations.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this role include regular communication, walking, and the ability to use hands for various tasks. The position may require lifting files and office supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
