POSITION SUMMARY:
The Facilities Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and executing maintenance initiatives aimed at ensuring a flawless environment for visitors. This role includes inspecting, maintaining, and repairing all mechanical, electrical, and other systems that contribute to the guest experience. The Facilities Operations Supervisor will also manage repairs across various departments within S&K Gaming, LLC and may assist with maintenance at other company properties as required. Additionally, this position develops and enforces safety programs to ensure compliance with health and environmental regulations for staff and visitors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Address guest inquiries, complaints, or requests in a professional manner.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy for the facility.
  • Utilize appropriate tools and equipment for maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Facilitate training for self and maintenance staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and public areas using established checklists.
  • Report safety hazards to the Facilities Manager promptly.
  • Consult with the Facilities Manager regarding significant repairs before engaging external services.
  • Perform maintenance on all equipment and facility needs, including furniture.
  • Review maintenance reports from staff to ensure issues are addressed.
  • Prioritize and execute maintenance requests from various departments efficiently.
  • Maintain a schedule for the upkeep of major drainage and sewage systems.
  • Document the locations of all electrical switches, resets, and circuit breakers.
  • Catalog shut-off valves and their functions.
  • Adhere to lubrication schedules for motors and belts.
  • Ensure regular cleaning of air filters.
  • Perform minor plumbing repairs and maintenance.
  • Employ basic hand and power tools while following safety guidelines.
  • Communicate potential issues to the Facilities Manager.
  • Maintain tools and workspaces in an orderly fashion.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the outdoor sprinkler system and grounds.
  • Manage the upkeep of roads and parking areas, including snow removal.
  • Conduct inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Investigate safety and health concerns raised by management or staff.
  • Assess issues and recommend corrective actions to the Facilities Manager.
  • Develop and implement internal safety policies and training materials.
  • Lead employee training sessions, including lectures and hands-on demonstrations.
  • Conduct monthly safety meetings.
  • Maintain and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ensure compliance with hazardous materials regulations.
  • Keep accurate records related to safety matters and prepare various reports.
  • Adhere to company policies and OSHA regulations.
  • May be assigned to specific projects as needed.
  • Delegate tasks to department staff as necessary.
  • Provide updates on project statuses and operational concerns to the Facilities Manager.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in maintenance.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • A valid driver's license is required, and the candidate must be insurable under the company's policy.
CERTIFICATIONS AND TRAINING:
  • Annual completion of Customer Service training.
  • Sexual Harassment training every two years.
  • EPA Class A & B Underground Storage Tank Operator Certification within 30 days of hire.
  • OSHA 30-hour General Industry Certification within one year of hire.
  • Hazardous Waste 101 Certification within one year of hire.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification within one year of hire.
  • First Aid/CPR/AED certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Accident Investigation training within one year of hire.
  • Internal Safety Audits training within one year of hire.
  • Skid Steer Safety Training within 90 days of hire.
  • Training on Slips, Trips & Falls.
  • Confined Space - Lock Out/Tag Out training.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and compliance with random drug testing policies is required.
  • It is the employee's responsibility to keep all certifications current and valid.
