POSITION SUMMARY
The role involves ensuring adherence to established Drop Procedures during designated drop periods while maintaining a secure environment for S&K Gaming facilities, personnel, and patrons. Responsibilities include safeguarding S&K Gaming properties and assets, as well as overseeing security operations, vendors, and resources dedicated to the protection of corporate facilities. The schedule may involve split days off, with a consistent 8-hour shift that aligns with the drop window and overlaps with the swing shift. This overlap allows the Security Supervisor to complete administrative tasks and provide leadership on the Casino Floor and throughout the property for the Security Team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recommend updates to Security Department Policies and Procedures.
- Manage and document physical security resources.
- Assist management with all security-related matters.
- Conduct or oversee investigations, research, or special assignments as required.
- Ensure high standards of performance and customer service in all assigned tasks.
- Participate in the recruitment and screening of qualified candidates for security roles as they arise.
- Facilitate the escorting of terminated employees from the premises when necessary.
- Address all concerns from casino or resort staff promptly.
- Maintain communication with the Direct Supervisor regarding any security vulnerabilities identified during operations.
- Respond to emergency requests at either property as needed.
- Ensure compliance with established regulations and assist in the recommendation, development, and implementation of enhancements to systems and procedures.
- Provide leadership during emergency situations.
- Evaluate daily security operations, focusing on eliminating weaknesses.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of Federal and Tribal Gaming Regulations.
- Understand casino operations, including all gaming aspects.
- Have a working knowledge of cash handling and cage procedures, along with shift manager responsibilities, including necessary reporting.
- Maintain composure and confidentiality regarding all incidents to protect guest privacy.
- Assist with Drop Procedures at the resort and casino as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Oversee the Casino Drop for the Security Department in collaboration with the Security Manager on a daily basis, while directing other security staff regarding Security Policies and Gaming Internal Controls.
- Ensure adherence to Policies and Procedures approved by the CSKT Tribal Gaming Commission for the drop process.
- Maintain a cooperative relationship with Machine Technicians and report any machine malfunctions or related issues discovered during the drop process.
- Coordinate with the Count Team Supervisor regarding game, theme, and floor changes, or any other drop/count-related issues.
- Stay in contact with surveillance during the drop process, reporting any deviations from the approved drop procedures and documenting communications with relevant management personnel.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in the security field is preferred.
- Completion of Title 31 Bank Secrecy Act training annually is required.
- Annual viewing of Customer Service training video is mandatory.
- Sexual Harassment training video must be viewed every two years.
- First Aid/CPR certification must be obtained within three months of hire.
- SOCS training is required within three months of hire.
- SafeServ certification is necessary.
- Completion of the gaming application and fingerprinting is required.
- A valid Montana driver's license is preferred and must be insurable under the company's insurance policy.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test is required, and the individual will be subject to random drug testing as a condition of employment.
- It is the employee's responsibility to ensure all documents remain current and valid.
