This role includes managing the Facilities Team and ensuring adherence to compliance regulations and procedures as mandated for operational excellence. Specifically, a Facilities Operations Supervisor will execute the following responsibilities to the highest standards:

  • Direct the Facilities Team in the daily engineering and maintenance activities of the establishment, including service protocols, equipment maintenance schedules, and work assignments.
  • Collaborate with Housekeeping to organize and prioritize maintenance tasks for guest accommodations and communal areas.
  • Establish systems and protocols to guarantee the health and safety of guests and team members, as well as the optimal functioning of equipment and property.
  • Engage with regulatory agencies to ensure complete compliance with legal requirements.
  • Develop and manage Capital and Maintenance budgets.
  • Conduct routine inspections throughout the property.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical systems within the establishment.
  • Foster positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all fixtures and fittings are maintained in a safe condition and take prompt action when any hazards are identified.
  • Design, implement, and oversee energy conservation initiatives to reduce operational costs.
  • Manage project bidding processes, outline project costs and scopes, and supervise contracted service providers to ensure quality and cost-effective work.
  • Undertake special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Identify and integrate environmentally sustainable systems and equipment.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators for the department and take corrective measures as necessary to enhance equipment inventory, quality audits, productivity, and other objectives.
  • Oversee all team member-related activities, including recruitment, performance evaluation, training, career development, disciplinary actions, and team motivation.
