Qualifications for the Role

  • Proficiency in psychosocial assessment, occupational placement, and vocational rehabilitation counseling.
  • Understanding of medical and psychiatric conditions as they relate to rehabilitation.
  • Familiarity with counseling theories, techniques, and their applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt and balance strict adherence to regulations with the application of policies to enhance engagement.
  • Minimum qualifications include:
    • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
    • One year of experience in rehabilitation counseling, career counseling, or human services.
  • Fully qualified candidates should possess:
    • A Master's degree in rehabilitation counseling.
    • Two years of supervisory experience directing counseling activities.
    • Certification from the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) is highly preferred.
  • Other combinations of relevant education and experience may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
