Education and Experience Requirements:
Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of one year of experience in maintenance, custodial services, property management, or general cleaning is required.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Self-motivated and proactive

- Capable of working independently
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Flexibility to undertake additional tasks as required, especially during peak seasons
- Proficient in performing various cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, sweeping, window cleaning, trash disposal, and restroom sanitation
Technical Skills:
- Competent in checking and responding to emails promptly
- Able to clock in and out using a timekeeping system
Position Scope:
This role supports the operations of The Salvation Army through the cleaning and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vacuum all designated areas weekly
- Sweep and mop floors on a weekly basis
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms weekly, ensuring paper products are replenished
- Daily cleaning of the Hygiene Center
- Weekly dusting of surfaces
- Daily trash disposal
- Maintain and clean equipment as needed
- Assist with setup and breakdown for events as required
- Conduct food pickups when necessary
Physical Requirements:
Candidates must be able to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist intermittently or continuously. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs is essential.
