POSITION SUMMARY:
The Facilities Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and executing maintenance initiatives designed to uphold a flawless environment for visitors. This role entails inspecting, maintaining, and repairing all mechanical, electrical, and auxiliary systems that impact guest satisfaction. The Facilities Operations Supervisor will ensure that all repairs are conducted across various departments within S&K Gaming, LLC and may extend assistance to other properties as required. This position also involves developing and enforcing safety protocols to guarantee compliance with health and environmental regulations for staff and guests alike.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Address guest inquiries, complaints, or requests in a professional manner.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy for the facility.
  • Utilize appropriate tools and equipment for various maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate training for self and maintenance staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular inspections of all equipment and public spaces using established checklists.
  • Report any hazards to the Facilities Manager promptly.
  • Consult with the Facilities Manager regarding significant repairs before engaging external services.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on all equipment and furnishings, both interior and exterior.
  • Review reports from Facilities Laborers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Prioritize and execute maintenance requests from other departments efficiently.
  • Maintain a schedule for the upkeep of major drains and sewage systems to prevent blockages.
  • Document the locations of all electrical switches, resets, and circuit breakers.
  • Catalog shut-off valves and their respective controls.
  • Adhere to lubrication schedules for motors and belts.
  • Follow protocols for cleaning refrigeration equipment.
  • Regularly change air filters and maintain HVAC systems.
  • Perform minor plumbing repairs and maintenance.
  • Utilize hand and power tools safely, following all safety guidelines.
  • Communicate potential issues with the Facilities Manager.
  • Keep tools and workspaces organized and clean.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the outdoor sprinkler system and grounds.
  • Manage the upkeep of roads and parking areas, including snow removal.
  • Conduct inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Investigate safety complaints and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement internal safety policies and training materials.
  • Facilitate employee training sessions and safety meetings.
  • Maintain and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ensure compliance with hazardous material regulations.
  • Keep accurate records related to safety issues and prepare necessary reports.
  • Adhere to all company policies and OSHA regulations.
  • May be assigned specific projects as needed.
  • Delegate tasks to department staff as necessary.
  • Provide regular updates on project statuses and operational concerns to the Facilities Manager.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • At least five (5) years of maintenance experience is preferred.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • A valid driver's license and insurability under the company's policy are mandatory.
CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Annual completion of Customer Service training.
  • Sexual Harassment training every two years.
  • EPA Class A & B Underground Storage Tank Operator Certification within 30 days of hire.
  • OSHA 30-hour General Industry Certification within one year of hire.
  • Hazardous Waste 101 Certification within one year of hire.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification within one year of hire.
  • First Aid/CPR/AED certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Accident Investigation training within one year of hire.
  • Internal Safety Audits training within one year of hire.
  • Skid Steer Safety Training within 90 days of hire.
  • Training on Slips, Trips & Falls.
  • Confined Space - Lock Out/Tag Out training.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and comply with random testing requirements.
  • It is the employee's responsibility to maintain current and valid certifications.
