The Social Media Marketing Intern will work closely with the communications team to facilitate and moderate discussions across our main social platforms while aiding in digital marketing efforts to achieve business goals, increase brand visibility, and foster customer interaction.


Key Responsibilities:
Execute North American social media and communication campaigns that align with our broader digital marketing objectives.
Assist the social media team in enhancing customer engagement, increasing brand visibility, and supporting sales efforts.
Oversee the growth and management of our online communities.
Collaborate with team members to create, moderate, and respond to online discussions.

Support analytical reporting to provide comprehensive metrics that inform best practices for our social channels, including competitive assessments.

Engage with and manage conversations from customers, prospects, and brand followers, including conflict resolution.
Contribute creative ideas and content for blog posts, content syndication, and partnerships in the market.

Develop relationships with customers, potential clients, influencers, and industry professionals to support the establishment of blogger and influencer programs.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with social media management across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube.
Demonstrated experience in community management.
Ability to identify target audiences and communicate effectively through social media channels.
Familiarity with emerging digital and social trends, along with a willingness to experiment with new ideas and strategies across platforms.
Experience in launching community initiatives that promote brand engagement.
Ability to identify and monitor relevant social media and community metrics (e.g., repeat attendance at events).
Strong attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team or independently to meet objectives and deadlines.
Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Education and Experience:
A minimum of 1 year of experience managing a social media department in an agency or corporate setting.
A passion for and solid understanding of social media.

Knowledge of Social Media Tools:
Experience with scheduling/posting and reporting/analysis tools.
Flexibility in work hours.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong editing abilities, content creation, and presentation skills.
Highly creative and process-oriented.
Experience conducting in-depth competitor analysis.
