About the Role

As a key player in our Field Sales organization, the Account Executive will play a crucial role in guiding new customers on a journey to leave legacy platforms behind and move forward with a new class of enterprise management cloud.

Responsibilities
  • Develop strategy for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in assigned territory
  • Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment
  • Initiate and support sales of Workday solutions within Medium Enterprise prospects and share Workday value propositions
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data
About You

We're looking for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in a high-velocity sales cycle, including prospecting for a portion of opportunities. You should have experience negotiating deals with C-Suite Executives and a strong understanding of the strategic competitive landscape of the industry.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to leverage and partner with internal team members on account strategies. Experience working within the professional business service industry is a plus.
