About the Role

The Lead Teacher at dReam Kids Academy, Inc. is a key member of our educational team, responsible for providing high-quality early childhood education to children between the ages of 6 weeks to 4 years old.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging lesson plans and programs for children aged 6 weeks to 4 years, and after-school activities.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment, ensuring the well-being and development of all children.
  • Instruction and Support: Provide personalized instruction and support to help children meet educational milestones and achieve their full potential.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Regularly observe and evaluate students' performance, behavior, social development, and physical health, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other teachers, instructors, and staff members to create an optimal learning and care environment, and maintain open communication with parents and guardians.
  • Facility Maintenance: Contribute to the overall care and maintenance of the childcare facility, ensuring compliance with safety, cleanliness, and regulatory standards.
  • Supply Management: Monitor and manage supply inventory to ensure that necessary items are always well-stocked.
  • Student Support: Adhere to all documented requirements for students, including dietary restrictions, medical conditions, and other critical data.
Requirements
  • Education: CDA, or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field such as Psychology or Social Work.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in an early childhood setting.
  • Certifications: First Aid/CPR Certification and willingness to complete 10 hours of annual training.
