Educational Program Manager

About the Role:
This position is focused on the planning, development, execution, and assessment of a holistic educational initiative aimed at enhancing the lives of individuals through learning. The role involves researching and creating innovative course materials, tracking program activities and participant progress, and fostering strong, professional relationships with clients and community organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, coordinate, and oversee a variety of educational initiatives, including parenting, nutrition, and life skills programs.
2. Assess the personal needs and progress of program participants to ensure the effectiveness of educational offerings and identify any additional support required.
3. Gather and distribute educational materials and information for class use and public dissemination.
4. Recruit, assign, and evaluate volunteer staff involved in educational programming, maintaining accurate records of their contributions.
5. Attend educational sessions led by volunteers to ensure program consistency and monitor participant development; verify completion of requirements before issuing certificates.
6. Organize educational, recreational, and cultural events during special occasions, coordinating volunteer support as necessary.
7. Maintain comprehensive statistical records and reports on all educational programs, ensuring their accuracy and completeness.
8. Prepare correspondence and keep detailed records on program participants and volunteers.
9. Engage in community outreach to promote educational programs, represent the organization at community meetings, and collaborate with other local resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
- Valid State Driver's License.
- Minimum of two years of experience in developing and leading educational programs, particularly in life management and health-related subjects.
Work Environment:
This role requires regular attendance and is typically performed in an office or classroom setting, with minimal physical discomfort from environmental factors.
