Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified, bilingual educator to join our team at Little Linguists International Preschool. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and implementing instruction, assessing child growth and development, and supervising the professional growth of Assistant Teachers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Care: Teach and care for children in Spanish and Mandarin languages, attending to their custodial needs, and planning developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Supervision and Professional Growth: Supervise and train Assistant Teachers, and provide guidance on teaching methods and classroom management.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders, and collaborate with teachers from other programs to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Program Development and Implementation: Plan and implement programs and activities that meet the needs of individual children, and adapt teaching styles to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete required reports, maintain accurate records, and perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Education and Experience: Meet current Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning Lead Teacher Credential requirements, including a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, and previous experience in ECE.
  • Language Proficiency: Be fluent in Spanish and English, or Mandarin and English.
  • Child Development Knowledge: Have comprehensive knowledge of child development, and be able to apply this knowledge in a classroom setting.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
