Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays and outstanding balances.
  • Provide coverage in our AIM Clinic on Saturdays and verify Medicare Wellness Exam and commercial annual physicals.
  • Monitor working environment to ensure effective use of resources and efficient patient flow.
  • Communicate with patients, physicians, and medical personnel to complete call-backs, scheduling, and other administrative tasks.
  • Sort, scan, and process documents into patient charts.
  • Register patients for our Patient Portal and obtain results and consult notes from various providers.
  • Sort physician mail daily and provide coverage at check-out as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one to two years of related experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to troubleshoot.
