Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Northeast Municipal Engineering Services Group (NEME) in New Hampshire or Vermont. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering infrastructure and civil engineering projects, including site design, grading, stormwater management, and sanitary sewer system design.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to a team of civil engineering design professionals in delivering creative, cost-effective, and quality solutions.
- Prepare calculations, layouts, modeling, estimates, drawings, and specifications under the direction of senior engineers and project managers.
- Lead and guide junior engineers and CADD teammates.
- Work collaboratively with an integrated, multi-discipline team to solve technical challenges.
- Develop designs and organize work using software and other tools.
- Gather, research, and maintain engineering data records, including tests, drawings, and field data.
- Attend site visits and meetings with clients and contractors.
- Conduct construction observation and limited administration.
- Read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Demonstrate strong writing and communication skills.
- BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 4-9 years of experience in project engineering, with a focus on infrastructure development and civil engineering design.
- PE licensure in one or more of the following: NH, VT, with ability to obtain reciprocal licenses in other New England states.
