Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer constructive solutions to address any project delays or budgetary concerns.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to new construction technicians, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Review and authorize progress payments from contractors, advising on potential financial discrepancies.
  • Lead discussions on complex project decisions and technical challenges with stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of as-built conditions to support project integrity.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients and contractors to ensure alignment and address any issues.
  • Prepare, evaluate, and approve change orders and value engineering proposals.
  • Thoroughly analyze construction schedules, offering recommendations to resolve conflicts and mitigate potential overruns.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess a BS or MS degree in civil engineering or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction inspection. Additional qualifications include:

  • PE Licensure
  • OSHA 10 Construction and Confined Space for Construction, or HAZWOPER certification
  • A valid driver's license
  • Certification in relevant programs offered by NICET, ACI, NETTCP, or an equivalent
  • The physical capability to perform tasks requiring moderate to strenuous activity
