Job Summary

The Michaels Organization is seeking a highly skilled Regional Facilities Director to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our properties. This is a critical role that requires a strong background in facilities management, project coordination, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Regional Property Managers, Community Managers, and Superintendents in completing capital projects.
  • Develop and implement annual capital improvement plans for owned and managed properties.
  • Ensure compliance with company programs, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Respond to emergency and disaster events, assess property damage, and negotiate with insurance adjusters and contractors.
  • Administer project budgets, monitor spending, and review vendor and contractor invoices for payment.
  • Ensure that all construction work performed is in compliance with company safety standards and applicable ordinance and building codes.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, project coordination, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Ability to travel as required to various communities and corporate headquarters.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
