Job Overview:

This role involves supervisory responsibilities in overseeing a team engaged in the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery. Key duties include:

  • Planning and assigning tasks for various fleet maintenance projects.
  • Supervising and inspecting the work performed by the crew.
  • Maintaining administrative records and preparing budgets and reports.
  • Monitoring the usage of materials and supplies while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Work is conducted under limited supervision, and the selected candidate will be expected to acquire a commercial inspection license within one year.

Minimum Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, candidates must demonstrate a combination of training, experience, and education totaling four years in highway, bridge, and equipment repair and maintenance, including at least one year in a lead worker capacity.

Licensing/Registration/Certification Requirements:

A valid Class C license is required, with the ability to obtain a Class A license during the probationary period. Completion of a 30-hour OSHA Safety course in construction is also necessary.
