About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team at Pepsi Beverages North America. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles and equipment, including automobiles, trucks, vans, and forklifts.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using leading-edge technology and diagnostic tools.
  • Utilize industry-standard software and systems to manage maintenance schedules, track repairs, and analyze vehicle performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimize fleet operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or a related field.
  • Valid CDL license with Non-Excepted Interstate Status required; must be able to obtain a CDL within 6 months of employment.
  • Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test (if applicable).
  • Ability to lift, bend, and maneuver in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with hydraulic and air brake systems.
  • Knowledge of internal combustible engines.
  • Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance.
  • Adherence to DOT Regulations.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
