Transportation Crew Supervisor

Job Summary

This is a supervisory position responsible for overseeing a crew engaged in heavy equipment maintenance and repair work. The selected candidate will be expected to plan, assign, supervise, and inspect a variety of fleet maintenance projects, as well as maintain administrative records and develop budgets and reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and assign tasks to crew members to ensure efficient completion of maintenance projects
  • Supervise and inspect crew members to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including materials and supplies used
  • Develop and manage budgets for maintenance projects
  • Monitor and report on maintenance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Four (4) year combination of training, experience, and education in highway, bridge, and equipment repair and maintenance and/or construction
  • At least one (1) year of lead worker experience
  • Valid Class C license with ability to obtain Class A license within probationary period
  • Completion of 30 hour OSHA Safety course in construction (20 CFR Part)
