Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technician (Glass Manufacturing) - $3000 Sign-On Incentive

Your Profile:

The ideal candidate is reliable, self-driven, and committed to completing assigned tasks. They possess the ability to safely troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on machinery while adhering to company policies. Flexibility in scheduling is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

The Trulite Electrical/Mechanical Technician will:

  • Oversee preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical issues on machinery, utilizing CMMS software for tracking maintenance and work orders
  • Engage in the repair and maintenance of electronic power generation and distribution equipment
  • Address challenges with practical knowledge and propose enhancements that optimize operations, including new techniques and technologies.

Required Skills:

  • 2-3 years of experience in maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or plant environments preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent vocational training
  • Minimum of 3 years working with electrical schematics
  • Familiarity with 480v 3 phase, 270v, 110v, and 24v systems
  • Understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems
  • Experience in the glass manufacturing sector is advantageous
  • Proficient in using a multimeter
  • Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge is beneficial
  • Expertise in troubleshooting electrical issues
  • Knowledge of VFD programming
  • Experience with PLC input and output controls troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with potentiometers, servos, drives, and encoders
