Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembly Technician to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As an Electrical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the preparation, assembly, and installation of electrical and radio assemblies and subassemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and assemble component parts into electrical and radio assemblies and subassemblies.
  • Install electrical and radio assemblies into main panels, performing mechanical and functional checks prior to installation.
  • Operate various sizes of wire braiding machines to braiding electrical wiring harnesses with non-metallic outer jackets.
  • Work within planned labor standards and schedule requirements.
Requirements
  • A minimum of two years of experience in aircraft electrical assembly, including electrical wire harness build.
  • Experience with routing wire on an electrical wiring board, pin and plug process, stripping wire, crimping wire, terminating wire, soldering wire, wiring harness buildup, and installing wiring harnesses in subassembly.
  • Experience with preparation, setup, and operation of various sizes of wire braiding machines for braiding electrical wiring harnesses.
Desired Skills
  • Familiarity with Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive (ESD) handling processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of electrical assemblies, wire harnesses, wire bundles, circuit breakers, and routing, wiring, assembling, and installing electrical and electronic components.
  • Experience with splicing, insulation, tying, and installing plugs and connecting devices.
