Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technician (Glass Sector) - $3000 Sign-On Incentive

Compensation and Benefits

  • Total compensation pay range: $28-36 based on experience
  • Shift differential: $1
  • Sign-on Bonus: $3000
  • Quarterly safety bonus opportunities available
  • Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 10 AM - 6:30 PM

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate is reliable, self-driven, and committed to completing assigned tasks. They should possess the ability to safely troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on machinery while adhering to company policies. Flexibility in scheduling is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

The Trulite Electrical/Mechanical Technician will:

  • Oversee preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems on machinery utilized in the facility, employing CMMS software to monitor PMs and work orders.
  • Engage in mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance of electronic power generation and transmission distribution control equipment.
  • Address issues utilizing a strong understanding of operational improvements and propose recommendations involving innovative techniques, technologies, or concepts.

Required Skills:

  • 2-3 years of experience in maintenance, electrical, mechanical, residential, or plant environments preferred.
  • High school diploma and/or vocational training required.
  • At least 3 years of experience with electrical schematics.
  • Familiarity with 480v 3 phase, 270v, 110v, and 24v systems.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems.
  • Experience in the glass industry is advantageous.
  • Proficient in using a multimeter.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge is beneficial.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting electrical issues.
  • Familiarity with VFD programming.
  • Experience with PLC input and output controls troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of potentiometers, servos, drives, and encoders.
