Role Summary

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for executing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on various systems within the facility. This includes performing electrical, mechanical, and electronic repairs, as well as troubleshooting to identify issues in CNC-controlled mechanical equipment utilized in the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain the mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems of the facility, ensuring optimal operational conditions.
  2. Set up machinery for production runs.
  3. Conduct routine preventive maintenance to guarantee the smooth operation of all machines.
  4. Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks on plant machinery and equipment.
  5. Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on overhead cranes.
  6. Install, repair, and replace worn or defective components, including motors and control devices, while troubleshooting all equipment.
  7. Diagnose issues related to mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, utilizing repair manuals and parts catalogs as needed.
  8. Inspect, operate, and test machinery to identify malfunctions.
  9. Document all maintenance and repair activities performed.
  10. Dismantle equipment to access and replace defective parts using various tools.
  11. Interpret equipment manuals and work orders to execute necessary maintenance and service tasks.
  12. Adhere to OSHA Safety and Health regulations.
  13. Perform additional duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in electronics, electrical repairs, and industrial equipment installation.
  • Demonstrated stable work history.
  • Experience with basic hand tools is essential.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge; familiarity with electronics is advantageous.
