What You Will Do

The Operations Manager must lead by example with our core values in mind. Responsibilities will include tracking upcoming jobs, scheduling, training, material and equipment purchases/rentals, workmanship checks (QC), job site etiquette (professionalism/safety), and ensuring crews are working efficiently. Leading by example, the Operations Manager – Maintenance will work directly with field staff to ensure job sites are running at optimal efficiency and producing quality work to Cherry Coatings' expected standard.

Your Daily Focus Field Operations Management (80%)
  • Oversee daily operations of field crews, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement efficient work schedules and task assignments for field personnel.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address concerns, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with project managers to coordinate resources and materials needed for successful project completion.
Training & Development (10%)
  • Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to field staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
  • Identify training needs and develop customized programs to address specific skill gaps within the team.
Materials & Equipment Management (10%)
  • Coordinate the procurement of necessary materials and equipment for field operations.
  • Ensure proper inventory management and tracking of all materials and equipment used on projects.
