Position Overview:
We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Permanent Field Engineer to enhance our vibrant team within the construction sector.

This position presents a thrilling opportunity to engage directly on-site, overseeing and ensuring the precise execution of our construction initiatives.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role within the project team, collaborating with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to achieve outstanding outcomes.

This role necessitates a comprehensive understanding of design specifications, commercial construction practices, and engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with project managers, architects, and engineering professionals to develop and execute design plans and specifications.
  • Supervise on-site construction operations to guarantee adherence to design specifications and safety regulations.
  • Generate detailed reports and documentation concerning project advancements, challenges, and solutions.
  • Conduct field evaluations and inspections to verify work quality and compliance with established timelines and budgets.
  • Identify and resolve on-site challenges, applying engineering principles and analytical skills.
  • Facilitate effective communication among the project team, clients, and contractors, ensuring all parties are informed and aligned.
  • Continuously monitor equipment and structures, providing recommendations for necessary modifications or repairs.
  • Engage in project planning and forecasting activities, offering expert insights on construction engineering matters.
  • Enforce and uphold safety protocols on the construction site, fostering a culture of safety and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a field engineering capacity within the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated experience with design specifications, commercial construction, and engineering practices.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in CAD software and other relevant industry technologies.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively liaising with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, adept at managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • A valid driver's license and readiness to travel to various construction sites as necessary.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
