Our extensive operations span across 42 states, providing comprehensive cooling tower solutions, maintenance, and field services.
Role Purpose:
The Construction Field Manager is tasked with overseeing the assembly and repair of cooling towers, ensuring that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with ICT's high-quality standards. This role is pivotal in providing experienced leadership and direction throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to ensure their needs are met.
- Recruit, oversee, mentor, and, if necessary, terminate craft personnel.
- Conduct safety training and enforce compliance with ICT and industry safety protocols.
- Manage the procurement and delivery of construction materials.
- Supervise the erection process of cooling towers.
- Prepare daily and time reports to track project progress.
- Select vendors for equipment rental and job supplies.
- Finalize each project, ensuring all paperwork is completed and client satisfaction is achieved.
- Maintain project budgets to ensure profitability.
- Develop and manage project schedules and work plans.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and progress.
- Lead pre-construction meetings to align project objectives.
- Train and develop junior superintendents and foremen.
- Inspect ongoing work to ensure compliance with customer specifications and construction timelines.
- Collaborate with engineering and supervisory staff to address construction challenges and enhance methods.
- Interpret project documentation to strategize construction procedures based on timelines and staffing needs.
- Contribute to the strategic development of bids and project plans.
- Provide problem-solving support for general superintendents.
- Manage large-scale, complex projects effectively.
- Oversee substantial crew resources.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Competencies:

- Completion of OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 training.
- Successful completion of a level 2 DISA background check.
- Drug screening and hair follicle testing required.
- Possession of a TWIC card.
Certifications and Skills:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Proficiency in Windows-based applications.
- Knowledge of safety standards through OSHA training.
- Certification in rigging, forklift, and man lift operations.
