Position Summary:
We are seeking a Vice President of Marketing to lead our marketing initiatives at Wake Research, an M3 company. This role is remote, with occasional travel required for leadership meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and implement marketing and communication strategies aimed at enhancing lead generation and participant enrollment in clinical studies, while increasing brand visibility among patients and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the marketing budget, assessing the effectiveness of marketing efforts through ROI and performance metrics to ensure alignment with revenue goals.
  • Lead a team of marketing professionals responsible for executing diverse marketing programs, including digital, social media, content creation, and traditional marketing.
  • Utilize marketing analytics to track performance, enabling data-driven decision-making and strategic adjustments.
  • Manage relationships with marketing vendors, ensuring project deliverables are met and providing regular updates on progress.
  • Expand our proprietary participant database and develop a comprehensive participant lifecycle program.
  • Assist with corporate communications and public relations efforts as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is required; an MBA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant B2C marketing experience, with a progressive increase in responsibilities, particularly in clinical research, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role managing marketing teams.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, providing innovative solutions while managing day-to-day operations.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-driven and innovative, with the capacity to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and communication abilities.
  • Strong team management skills, including training and mentoring capabilities.
  • Experience in fostering collaboration across various functions and departments.
  • Proficient in analytics, with the ability to synthesize complex data for actionable insights.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools is advantageous.
