POSITION SUMMARY:
The Coiled Tubing Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the mobilization and maintenance of coiled tubing equipment. This role involves ensuring the safe setup and operation of units and associated equipment, including the rigging and movement of equipment across various locations. The Supervisor will report directly to the Coiled Tubing Manager and will play a crucial role in daily operations.

  • Coordinate the timely arrival of personnel, equipment, and materials to job sites, ensuring readiness for operations.
  • Facilitate pre-job meetings with team members, clients, and third-party personnel.
  • Execute operations according to client-approved designs and procedures.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, adhering to management protocols for any changes in job programs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards among all personnel on-site.
  • Verify that all assigned personnel are qualified to operate their equipment.
  • Accountable for delivering services that meet client expectations.
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately and promptly as per company policies.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and ensure readiness for subsequent jobs.
  • Maintain technical proficiency and engage in continuous learning with mentorship.
  • Promote a positive company image while interacting with clients on-site.
  • Assist in training less experienced staff.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as required.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and commitment to safety protocols.
  • Learn and master all aspects of coiled tubing operations.
  • Supervise designated safety roles during operations.
  • Manage and assist Unit Operator technicians in maintaining equipment.
  • Be prepared for on-call duties as needed.
  • Drive safely in challenging weather conditions.
  • Utilize technology for reporting and communication effectively.
  • Understand the hazards associated with pressurized equipment and wellhead systems.
  • Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions.
  • Possess knowledge of safety, health, and environmental policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of fluid pumps and related equipment is essential.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in coiled tubing operations is required.
  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.

CERTIFICATIONS:

  • North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Class A CDL and current Hazmat endorsement.
  • Five years of supervisory experience in the oil field is preferred.
  • Current well control training certification is advantageous.
