POSITION: Materials Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY

The Materials Supervisor is responsible for managing the procurement, receipt, processing, and allocation of materials to ensure project objectives are met effectively. This role entails overseeing logistics, liaising with suppliers, and maintaining precise documentation to adhere to project timelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess project requirements and technical drawings to identify material necessities.
  • Generate comprehensive reports detailing total quantities ordered, received, and stored on-site.
  • Collaborate with project leaders, craft supervisors, and field teams to provide updates on material deliveries.
  • Oversee material storage to guarantee adherence to corporate standards.
  • Examine materials against project specifications and uphold accurate records.
  • Facilitate material distribution to specific job locations.
  • Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all project mandates.
  • Lead initiatives to apply best practices across all project operations.
  • Adhere to company and client policies and procedures.
  • Promote a culture of safety and prioritize safe working practices in all tasks.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Willingness to work 80.5 – 84 hours weekly on a rotational basis.
  • North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety certification.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the North Slope region.
  • At least ten (10) years of experience in Materials, Logistics, or Procurement.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Smartsheet, and SharePoint.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Five (5) or more years as a Materials Supervisor in construction or industrial settings, ideally within the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical sectors.
