Position Overview

The Wireline Field Engineer plays a crucial role in overseeing field operations, ensuring the effective management of personnel and resources to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the planning and execution of field operations under the guidance of the Operations Supervisor or District Manager.
  • Provide daily supervision and direction to crew members both on-site and in the yard.
  • Ensure the safe transportation of personnel, equipment, and materials in accordance with client specifications.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees to ensure adherence to operational standards and safety protocols.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures in all operational activities.
  • Engage with clients to foster positive relationships and ensure service quality aligns with expectations.
  • Promote the sales of Yellowjacket product offerings, including fishing and rental services, wireline, and thru tubing.
  • Prepare proposals and pricing as required to support business development efforts.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety performance and environmental awareness among all team members.
  • Adhere to Yellowjacket's standard operating procedures and safety training requirements.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or engineering role within field operations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively under pressure, adapting to changing priorities.
  • Physical capability to lift weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency in writing, mathematics, and computer applications.
  • Flexibility to accommodate varying work schedules and travel as necessary.
  • Ability to successfully complete pre-employment screenings and job-related assessments.
