Position Overview

The Wireline Field Engineer plays a crucial role in overseeing operations and ensuring the efficient execution of services in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage field personnel under the guidance of the Operations Supervisor or District Manager, ensuring effective coordination of activities.
  • Provide daily oversight of crew members both on-site and in the yard, facilitating smooth operations.
  • Ensure the safe transport of personnel, equipment, and materials to and from client locations, adhering to specific client requirements.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees to ensure compliance with established operational procedures and safety standards.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
  • Engage with clients to maintain strong relationships and promote Yellowjacket product lines, including fishing and rental services, wireline, and thru tubing.
  • Prepare proposals and pricing as necessary to support business development efforts.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety performance and environmental awareness among all team members.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and safety policies, ensuring compliance with all company regulations and training requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational goals.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or engineering role within field operations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively under pressure, adapting to changing priorities.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency in writing, mathematics, and computer usage.
  • Flexibility to accommodate varying work schedules and travel as required by job demands.
  • Ability to successfully complete pre-employment screenings and job-related assessments.
