Job Summary

Columbia College seeks a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Educator to join our team of well-respected healthcare educators. As a Senior Clinical Instructor I, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of nurses by guiding, teaching, and evaluating ASN and/or BSN students' performance in clinical and laboratory settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to ensure student success in clinical and laboratory settings.
  • Partner with faculty and staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to promote growth and development.
  • Collaborate with clinical agencies to ensure high-quality clinical experiences for students.
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in nursing education.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree with a major in Nursing.
  • An unencumbered Missouri registered nurse license or eligibility for licensure in Missouri.
  • Minimum of three (3) years clinical experience immediately prior to appointment.
  • Flexibility to travel to various clinical agencies locally.
  • Ability to work varied hours, including evening lab/clinical.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous clinical instructor experience supervising and evaluating nursing students.
