Job Summary:

Columbia College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Instructor I to join our Nursing Department. As a key member of our faculty team, you will be responsible for guiding and teaching ASN and/or BSN students in clinical and laboratory settings, while also partnering with colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of ASN and BSN students
  • Provide instruction and guidance to students in clinical and laboratory settings
  • Assess and evaluate student performance, providing feedback and support as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Unencumbered Missouri registered nurse license or eligibility for licensure in Missouri
  • Minimum of three years clinical experience immediately prior to appointment
  • Flexibility to travel to various clinical agencies locally
  • Ability to work varied hours, including evening lab/clinical
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous clinical instructor experience supervising and evaluating nursing students
