Youth Support Specialist

Compensation ranges from $17 to $19 per hour, depending on experience, education, and certification. This position requires evening availability from 3 PM to 12 AM.

As a Youth Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to serve as a positive influence for children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting who require a structured environment due to behavioral, emotional, or developmental challenges. The Youth Support Specialist plays a vital role in developing and executing resident treatment plans and utilizes role modeling to instill socially constructive values, attitudes, and behaviors in residents. This position reports directly to the Program Manager.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess a High School Diploma or G.E.D. with a minimum of six months of experience working with children, OR; an Associate's Degree with at least three months of relevant experience, OR; a Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field recognized by the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
