Patient Access Services Coordinator

**Job Summary:**
The Patient Access Services Representative is responsible for completing the registration process for patients. They verify insurance and ensure that registrations are accurate. They are also responsible for initiating referrals and financially securing accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrive patients for scheduled appointments by obtaining necessary consents, signatures, documents, and insurance verification from the patient.
- Schedule patient appointments.
- Collect co-pays at time of service.
- Identify coverage or self-pay issues and engage the Financial Advocates as needed.
- Enter patient information and scan required documents in the scheduling system.
- Collaborate with the Business Department to support revenue cycle.
- Utilize great customer service skills with both patients and coworkers.
