About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Paragon Water Systems. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with foodservice customers.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of sales experience in water filtration or the foodservice industry, a bachelor's degree in business administration or higher, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. They will also be able to demonstrate a proven track record of achieving positive results against stated goals, with a strong ability to travel up to 20-40%.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development of marketing materials for launch in the foodservice market.
  • Coordinate displays at foodservice industry tradeshows.
  • Drive efforts to win foodservice filtration sales to new channels including foodservice distributors, service companies, and foodservice equipment OEMs.
  • Lead sales and support of foodservice products to intercompany Culligan businesses globally.
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for foodservice customers.
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel with existing and new foodservice customers.
  • Identify channel potential by analyzing sales potential at various accounts; identifying and evaluating additional needs; and recommending and initiating new applications to drive growth.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including technical support, project management, engineering, and quality assurance resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations.
  • Manage sales forecasts and work with various internal resources to ensure success.

Requirements:

  • $85,000 - $110,000 per year (estimated salary based on location)
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration or higher education
  • 5+ years of sales experience in water filtration or the foodservice industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to demonstrate a proven track record of achieving positive results against stated goals
  • Ability to travel up to 20-40%
  • Driver's license and Passport or ability to obtain required
  • Extremely organized and able to easily multi-task large volumes of projects at once
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently as needed
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs of customers and internal processes requirements
