Position Overview

Conexon is a dynamic organization collaborating with Rural Electric Cooperatives to develop state-of-the-art fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) networks across the country. We are currently seeking a Program Supervisor to enhance our Construction Program Management team. This role is pivotal in supporting the Construction VPs, Directors, Regional Project Managers, Project Managers, and Program Director/Managers to ensure project timelines align with client expectations and Conexon’s financial goals. We value a meticulous individual capable of overseeing projects from inception to completion, contributing positively to our collaborative office culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the program management team with project tracking as necessary.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain project management applications; create additional tools as required.
  • Establish and manage database Statements of Work (SOWs) and anticipated timelines.
  • Provide updates on development milestones to essential stakeholders.
  • Facilitate data entry into the project management database; ensure data integrity and timely updates.
  • Gather and analyze data across various construction projects to identify trends.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.
  • Generate reports for senior management based on data queries.
  • Support the project management team in creating and revising schedules.
  • Address support inquiries submitted through our internal database.
  • Organize and lead meetings with clients, vendors, and team members; prepare agendas, document notes, and follow up on action items.
  • Supervise a team of construction program coordinators.
  • Assist in developing process documentation and training for the team.
  • Achieve database certification and engage in ongoing professional development.
  • Contribute to additional tasks as the team expands.
Qualifications:

  • Proficient in data querying and report generation.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable presenting information to internal teams.
  • Outstanding organizational and follow-up capabilities.
  • Adept at multitasking and working independently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams and SharePoint.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and queries.
  • Familiarity with outside plant (OSP) and fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) terminology and processes.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of Quickbase is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.

Work Environment:

This position typically operates in a standard office environment, with some irregular hours required. Most tasks involve computer work, and occasional travel may be necessary. We are currently hiring for a full-time position.
