Job Summary

The Executive Coordinator is a key member of the National Organization for Women (NOW) team, providing administrative support to the president and other senior staff members. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across different mediums.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the president's calendar, travel logistics, and speaking arrangements
Draft routine correspondence, meeting minutes, and edit blog posts
Manage Board relations, including scheduling and managing Board Meeting logistics
Attend Board Meeting weekends and take meeting minutes
Support executive event planning and logistics management for NOW's annual conference and summits
Coordinate and facilitate nominating, election, and other committees
Manage speaker and honoree logistics
Give semi-regular reports to staff and create tick-tock for staff duties

Qualifications

2-3 years of experience in a related field
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook and Calendar
Ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize tasks
Diplomatic and polite when communicating with others
Passion for women's rights and intersectional feminism

Work Environment
