DCI Donor Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Referral Response Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in facilitating the donation process and ensuring the seamless coordination of referral information and logistics.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and communicate referral information and logistics to facilitate the donation process.
- Maintain accurate documentation of the medical screening process via data entry and follow established referral intake procedures.
- Evaluate medical suitability of potential organ and tissue donors by utilizing information from medical records, personal histories, physical examination, and current health status.
- Request and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests needed for evaluation of suitability and clinical management of potential donors.
- Collaborate with hospital personnel and clinical teams to develop an action plan that supports the option of donation and activation of the appropriate DCIDS team members.
- Participate in training, process improvement, departmental QA/QC activities, and special projects as directed.
- 2+ years of emergency or critical care experience in a healthcare setting.
- Prior experience as a Paramedic or EMT.
- Demonstrated ability to understand medical terminology and read a medical chart.
- Exceptional teamwork, communication, and conflict management skills.
- Valid Driver's license with ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements.

- Up to 72 hours (9, 8-hour days) of Sick Time your first year.
