Job Description

Prime Response, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Material Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support in the management of equipment, property, and materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform duties related to equipment and material management, including acquisitions, inventories, transfers, and turn-in actions.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records in the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).
  • Coordinate with PRS personnel and other agencies to manage transactions and resolve issues.
  • Assist in the management of the Report of Survey Program for lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed property.
  • Provide guidance and support to equipment custodians to complete their annual inventory and ensure accurate records.
  • Perform Loan Control Officer (LCO) functions, including reviewing lease, loan, and donation agreements and taking appropriate action to update or terminate them.
  • Assist in providing custodian initial and refresher training as required.
  • Utilize and manage transactions in the Standard Base Supply System (SBSS).
  • Process hazardous material (HAZMAT) purchase requests and ensure tracking and labeling requirements are administered.
  • Assist with receiving customer requests for liquid propellant requirements and coordinate transactions with DLA Energy.
  • Obtain access and monitor the Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (CCaRs) or other financial system to ensure applicable accountable property records are processed.
  • Assist with the performance of equipment/IT custodian for AFRL assets and portions of Building 1010 assigned to PRI and our immediate government customer.
Requirements:
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English, with a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in email or verbally.
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a secret security clearance.
  • Must have a current state driver's license.
  • At least two years of experience in equipment control, property accountability, material management, or other related support.
  • At least two years of experience in using computers in support of equipment control, property accountability, material management, or other related services.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including being on your feet and traveling to laboratories and other facilities.
  • Ability to be trained in the use of administrative tools and USAF computer systems.
