The Installation Solutions Advisor (also known as Technical Sales Manager) will report directly to the Regional Sales Leader (RSL) or the Director of Sales within their designated area. This role is integral to a larger team focused on enhancing customer loyalty through effective account management. The primary responsibility is to engage with key installation companies in the region, collaborating with Territory Sales Managers to deliver value by advising on installation practices to our existing client base. Additionally, this position works closely with the Business Development Manager and leadership to ensure that installation challenges do not hinder sales conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships with key installation companies in targeted areas and safeguard our business interests.
  • Identify growth opportunities within the region by targeting installation companies and collaborating with internal teams to secure their business.
  • Facilitate customer transitions to James Hardie by removing obstacles and ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Leverage CRM tools to make informed decisions that promote year-over-year volume growth.
  • Support Territory Sales Representatives and the Business Development Manager in achieving additional volume growth annually.
  • Conduct market segmentation to assess and evaluate opportunities, leading all aspects of the customer sales process while utilizing available resources for solution development.
  • Demonstrate the ability to build and nurture relationships, expand networks, and identify potential leads.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on all technical installation practices related to our product offerings.
  • Manage a priority-based schedule with prospective clients.
  • Exhibit flexibility in attending key events within the assigned territory.
  • Engage extensively with the account base to foster networking opportunities.
  • Influence key stakeholders to advocate for James Hardie.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of company products and their installation practices, as well as customer programs and benefits.
  • Analyze and interpret data to inform decision-making in the market.
  • Capable of leading presentations in front of large audiences.
  • Demonstrate a passion for personal and company success to meet or exceed established goals.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-touch sales environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English, Spanish, and/or Portuguese is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, discipline, and self-management.
  • Ability to convey construction expertise and knowledge effectively at job sites.
  • Solid sales mentality with a thorough understanding of the sales process.
  • Proven ability to build relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Capability to influence key stakeholders to become advocates for James Hardie.
  • Willingness to travel 10-15% of the time.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred, with a requirement for accreditation from a recognized institution.
