Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Equipment Operator to join our team at Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC. As a Field Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of applicator equipment, ensuring accurate application of herbicides and pesticides to labeled crops. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and apply herbicides and pesticides to labeled crops in accordance with company guidelines and regulations.
  • Operate and maintain applicator equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting.
  • Accurately record and maintain log books for applicated acres.
  • Participate in continuing education and training to maintain pesticide applicator license.
  • Attend equipment workshops and training sessions to stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and facilities.
  • Work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues and supervisors.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience operating large equipment and a Class B CDL preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old to operate Helena equipment and/or drive a company vehicle.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
  • Excellent driving record and ability to read field maps and use tractor-mounted field computers.
