Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Engineer to join our team at GE Healthcare. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating and troubleshooting imaging and PCS equipment issues, implementing repairs, and performing planned maintenance. You will also be responsible for maintaining effective customer relations and communicating with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot imaging and PCS equipment issues, implementing repairs and performing planned maintenance.
  • Maintain effective customer relations and communicate with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
  • Work within hospital environments to ensure safe and effective operation of medical equipment.
  • Document all repair actions and submit reports according to schedule.
  • Manage vendor's service delivery processes in compliance with GE policies.
Requirements
  • Active Military Personnel.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good customer relationships.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience and/or coursework in biomedical equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Ability to interpret schematic diagrams and perform troubleshooting and planned maintenance on basic biomedical, diagnostic imaging, or electronic equipment.
  • Analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to customers in an easy-to-understand manner.
