POSITION SUMMARY:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking a dedicated Agronomy Field Supervisor for a reputable seed organization in the Pacific Northwest. This role is pivotal in overseeing sugar beet seed fields to ensure the production of pure, high-yielding, and quality seed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage and supervise agricultural production activities, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain effective communication with seed growers to ensure all expectations are met and understood.
  • Create and maintain detailed field maps and production records using SAP.
  • Generate necessary reports as required by management.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, guidelines, and safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Travel as needed to fulfill job responsibilities and represent the company.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in agriculture or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in agricultural production with prior supervisory experience.
  • Experience in crop management, particularly with sugar beets, is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in coordinating activities and providing mentorship to team members.
  • Technical skills and familiarity with SAP are preferred.
  • Experience with operating and loading trailers is required.
  • Possession of a Commercial Pesticide Consultant License or the ability to obtain one within six months of hire.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
