About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Equipment Operator to join our team at Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC. As a key member of our agronomy solutions team, you will be responsible for applying herbicides and pesticides to labeled crops, operating and maintaining equipment, and performing various tasks to ensure the safe and efficient application of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and apply herbicides and pesticides to labeled crops in accordance with company guidelines and regulations.
  • Operate and maintain equipment, including applicators, sprayers, and other machinery.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration on application equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Keep accurate records of application activities, including log books and other documentation.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain pesticide applicator license and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve business objectives and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience operating large equipment and performing maintenance tasks.
  • Must be at least 18 years old to operate Helena equipment and/or drive a company vehicle.
  • Class B CDL preferred.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Qualified Applicator Certificate (QAC) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Agricultural background and knowledge of ag pesticides.
  • Ability to read field maps and use tractor-mounted field computers.
