Job Overview

Position: Electrical Superintendent

Automationtechies is looking for a skilled and driven Electrical Superintendent to oversee job teams on industrial electrical assignments across the nation. This position demands exceptional leadership capabilities, comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, and a strong focus on safety and quality assurance. You will play a crucial role in managing daily operations, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, within the defined scope, and meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to various project locations as required.
  • Organize, plan, and direct the daily activities of job teams.
  • Recruit, train, and if necessary, terminate employees in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Examine job plans, specifications, and contract details to verify accuracy.
  • Participate in and contribute to coordination meetings.
  • Track and document project progress, generating RFIs and other necessary communications.
  • Ensure adherence to National Electrical Codes and safety regulations.
  • Manage material orders, tool control, and maintain job site cleanliness.
  • Monitor and approve employee work hours.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Significant experience in the industrial electrical sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams in varied work settings.
  • Familiarity with NEC, OSHA safety standards, and L.O.T.O protocols.
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Practical experience with the installation and troubleshooting of PLCs, AC/DC drives, and motor control systems.
  • Capable of working in diverse weather conditions and at elevated heights.

Note: The annual base salary range for this position is provided as a guideline. The final salary offer will be based on factors such as work experience, education/training, key skills, and other considerations.
